About PSA

The Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) Certification is presented by the Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD). CRD is devoted to lifelong learning, career advancement, and specialized credentials for real estate professionals.

With 10+ designations and certifications, over 100 microcourses, an award-winning podcast, and educational events, there is a learning experience for every real estate professional. CRD has educational offerings in nearly every real estate niche, from buyer representation to emerging technology and short sales. In addition, courses are offered online and in-person classroom formats for you to choose which style best fits your schedule.

The PSA certification provides a framework to help you determine a fair property market value and confidently advise your buyer and seller clients. In the course, you will learn how to:

Learn best practices for analyzing local market data, evaluating a property’s value, and making pricing recommendations.

Implement strategies for evaluating and selecting the most relevant comps and adjusting them to account for differences with the subject property.

Access trusted sources for local market data and consider how indicators such as supply and demand and absorption rate influence pricing recommendations.

Work constructively with appraisers

Develop skills for working with appraisers, learn how to review a report, and take appropriate action when a report appears to contain inaccuracies.

Guide clients through the process

Utilize strategies for alleviating anxiety and correcting misperceptions that clients may have about home values and learn to present your recommendations with confidence.
